FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in plain bearing assemblies intended for operation in aggressive media in a wide temperature and pressure ranges, in particular, in tight chemical pumps with a magnetic coupling. The magnetic coupling pump unit centrifugal rotor mounting unit incorporates a plane bearing made from chemical-resistant ceramic material and consists of cases tightly fitted on fixed shaft, sleeves, thrust rings and inserts fitted in the running rotor. Inner stepwise surface of every case locks the sleeve and thrust ring on the shaft by means of the case ledges and the sleeve and thrust ring flats. The size of every ledge on the case depends upon the diameter of contacting surfaces and contact pressure on the assembly. The outer surface of fixed shaft, sleeves, thrust rings have two flats arranged at the angle of 180°. The cases are made from high-temperature resistance polymer. Every ledge on the case stepwise inner surface, like the matching flats of the fixed shaft, sleeve, and thrust ring are arranged at the angle of 90° to the previous one.
EFFECT: higher maintainability of the pump basic assembly units and better protection of its critical parts.
