FIELD: flaw detection.

SUBSTANCE: magnetic locator of defects and damages in pipes consists of a non-ferromagnetic case, inside of which there is a magnetic conductor with a cylindrical shape, with two ring grooves on the outer surface, in which are put two measuring coils. Two permanent magnets join like poles to the magnetic conductor and pole terminals. On the outer surface of the pole terminals, there are extra saddle-shaped measuring coils. The result is achieved due to increased noise immunity.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of detecting small damages to pipes and perforation intervals of casing pipes.
