FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: diagnostic device contains isolated electrodes with end faces mounted flush with working surface and perpendicularly thereof, connected with power unit and signal processing module, output group connected to indicator, and three electrodes are one-row mounted, end electrodes of row are electrically interconnected by means of e.g. conductive adhesive by the end faces opposite to end faces out working surface, connected to first output of power unit, and central electrode corresponding to end face also connected to signal processing module by means of e.g. conductive adhesive, thus electrodes together with signal processing module with its second input connected to second output of power unit are filled with compound, e.g. epoxy also used to shape working surface, third input of signal processing module is connected to input of diagnostic device. Besides, end electrodes are shaped as interparallel plates of thickness 1.5-15.0 mm. Central electrode is mounted at the same distance from each of these plates and shaped as plate or cylindrical rod, and plate thickness or rod diameter are chosen equal 1.0-10.0 mm. Thus electrodes are made of chemically neutral material, e.g. carbon glass.
EFFECT: invention provides accurate evaluation of potassium concentration in saliva directly during measurement.
