FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: train stop brake incorporates a rack-type locking device with a wedge grip to hold the brake lever linkage in a braked state, a flexible element, two three-way air valves, emergency slide valve, a maximum pressure valve and two locking delay valves. The said emergency slide valve consists of a body with a cover, a slide valve, an adjusting spring and a ball-type lock. The aforesaid emergency slide valve is programmed, for a preset braking air pressure line, for a fast discharge of air from the said line to zero and emergent operation of air-operated brakes with subsequent automatic brakes locking by the train stop brake locking device. Two locking delay valves are made up of nipples and pressure rubber washers to delay air feed into air-operated grips drives to lock the braking cylinder rod only after its complete travel into braking position.
EFFECT: independent braking and locking the rolling stock in braked state.
