SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to the technology of silicates and relates to ceramic mixtures, used, for example, in making glass-melting pots. The ceramic mixture for making glass-melting pots consists of the following components in the given percentage mass ratios: molten quartz 74-80; clay 4-6; kaolin 6-8; chammotte 7-12; liquid glass 1-2.
EFFECT: longer life service and lower porosity of glass-melting pots.
