FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to air mills and can be used in regions with favourable wind conditions. The air turbine represents, basically, a hollow integral shaft-cylinder made a one-piece body or furnished with holes. From outside, the blades in the form of semicylinders are attached so that the shaft-cylinder falls within clearance limits of inner ends of the blades. The outer ends of the blades fastened at several points along the turbine length by narrow rings-hoops or transverse disks to form a multi-blade or sectional cylinder. An axle is passed through inside the shaft-cylinder, the former being rigidly fixed with the latter by adapters. The multi-blade cylinder end faces accommodate cone fairings fitted on the shaft-cylinder extending ends. Annular disks rigidly fixed with the blades end faces make the base of the said fairings. Fairings are made hollow allowing an arrangement of fixed ballast to create a required moment of inertia.
EFFECT: simpler design and higher efficiency.
