FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to power engineering and can be used for conversion of wind energy to other types of energy. Wind power station (WPS) includes aeroturbine made of two vertical turbines installed one above the other and having individual load-carrying shafts connected to electric generators or other rotation energy consumers. Shaft of lower turbine is hollow, inside it there arranged is shaft of upper turbine, on the shaft surface there installed are discs in which there fixed are inner ends of blades; outer ends of blades are tightened with narrow rings-hoops; edges of blades are covered with bases in the form of discs, thus forming multiple blade turbines of opposite rotation direction. Bases of turbines are equipped with cylinders; into external cylinders there built are capacities with movable ballast. Elements of centrifugal limiters of turbine rotation speed are arranged in intermediate cylinders. WPS can be used in areas with favourable and extreme wind conditions, as well as on sea vessels and on high-rise buildings as drives for actuator screws and elevator motors in emergency cases.
EFFECT: increasing efficiency and reliability at the possibility of arranging electric generators in closed rooms.
