SUBSTANCE: invention refers to devices for surface treatment, particularly to vacuum cleaners. A vacuum cleaner contains a main case, a head for surface treatment and a support unit. The support unit is designed to perform rolling motion to the main case which facilitates a rolling motion of the case on surface. The support unit also contains a component of a device - for instance, an electric motor of a drive of a device for sweeping. As an alternative or an additional variant the support unit can comprise an inlet for a flowing medium designed to intake the stream of a flowing medium, also it can contain an outlet of a flowing medium designed for outlet of a flowing medium stream and a facility for effecting at the stream of a flowing medium, received by the inlet, for example, a filter or a suction device.

EFFECT: increased stability of a vacuum cleaner and improvement of its manoeuvrability.
