SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device for surface treatment, such as vacuum cleaner. Proposed device (200) for surface treatment, for instance, vacuum cleaner, comprises main body (210), head (230) for surface treatment and support unit (220). Support unit is installed with possibility of swinging onto main body (210), which provides for swinging of the main body (210) along surface. A component of device, such as electric motor of surface wiping device drive, is also enclosed in support unit (220). In alternative or additional version, support unit may enclose inlet (531) of fluid medium, designed to receive fluid medium flow, outlet (535) of fluid medium designed for fluid medium outlet, and facility for action at flow of liquid medium, received by inlet, for instance, filter or suction device.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at development of device for surface treatment, having higher maneuverability, and also at increase of device stability, due to arrangement of domestic electric appliance component in support unit.
