FIELD: construction, life saving equipment.
SUBSTANCE: suspended platform for evacuation from multistorey buildings consists of a working platform with boards and is equipped with a telescopic crossover trap with folding boards. The working platform board situated above the place of trap telescoping is arranged with a sliding door to provide an access to the telescopic crossover trap. The trap is fixed with a metal bow with a crossbar and has a narrowing and a locking pin in the shape of a hook at its end. The technic task of the invention is safety control of people evacuation from multistorey buildings during a fire and a decrease of the time period required for delivery and performance of fire fighting and rescue works. Any floor is available for the saving platform all over a high building because the platform is hung by means of the hooks and is lowered by means of cable ropes from the roof down to the window opening or to the balcony. Unlike ground means of evacuation several suspended saving platform units can be installed and function at the same time on the roof at a small distance from each other. Fire extinguishing can be performed from the same platform following evacuation of people.
EFFECT: safety control of people evacuation from high buildingds during a fire and decrease of the time period required for delivery and performance of fire fighting and rescue works.
