FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to dust cleaning of low and high temperature gases and may be used in chemical, construction and other industries. Primary application - in cleaning of dust-gas-air flow that diverges from drying drum during preparation of clay raw materials used in semi-dry pressing of ceramic items. In method of water wash of dusty divergent gases, which includes interaction of gas flow with cooled heat exchanging surfaces with formation of water vapors condensate on them, which are contained in gas, gases flow is sent to heat exchanging surfaces with concentration of suspended particles of dust and temperature, with which gas arrives for cleaning. Dust deposited on heat exchanging surfaces is periodically removed by means of irrigation and flooding of heat exchanging surfaces with water. During irrigation and flooding of heat exchanging surfaces dusty gas supply to them is stopped. Device for method implementation contains two chambers of condensation with heat exchangers that are made in the form of coil sections from metal plastic pipes, dusty gas supply pipeline and outlet pipeline of cleaned gas and irrigation nozzles, which are installed above heat exchangers in condensation chambers. Dusty gas supply pipeline is divided into two sleeves, along every of which alternating arrival of dusty gas is possible to one or the other chamber. Condensation chamber is made with the provision of periodical filling with irrigation water and its subsequent drain and is installed with incline to the side of outlet pipeline, which provides natural flowing of contaminated water.

EFFECT: reduction of power inputs and water flow; simplification of device installation.
