FIELD: drying materials. SUBSTANCE: drum drier has rotatable drum, screw charging unit which is set on rollers from the end face, and device for purifying exhaust heat carrier. The screw charging device consists of housing with charging hopper, screw, sealing jacket and is separated into sections by lateral perforated baffle. The ring seal is arranged on the end face wall oppositely to the sealing jacket. The screw is mounted on the hollow shaft and has two enters. Slots are made in the face of the shaft. The slots engage the rod mounted diametrically opposite. The opposite end of the shaft is coupled with the inlet branch pipe. The section is in communication with the dust collector. A port is made in the baffle. Blades of the screw push dust, which is fed from the purifying unit, through the port from section to section. EFFECT: improved design. 6 cl, 3 dwg
