FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: can be used in medicine for obtaining antitumoral medical substances of the I and III generations. Magnus' salt is subjected to interaction with ammonium acetate when heated and at pH=5.4 for a period of an hour. Then concentrated hydrochloric acid, free from oxidizers is added to the cooled solution. The precipitated salt of cis-ammineplatinum (II) dichloride cis-[Pt(NH3)Cl2] is separated. The solution is further heated for a period of 1.5 hours and trans-ammineplatinum (II) dichloride.
EFFECT: increased output of these products.
