FIELD: measuring instruments.

SUBSTANCE: device for measuring the activity of hydrogen comprises a measurement electrode placed into a flowing media and surrounded by a screen in the form of a grid from an electrically conductive and corrosion resistant material and a reference electrode, both electrodes being connected to a signal processor. According to the invention, the measurement electrode together with the screen are placed into a sealed chamber provided with an inlet tube and an outlet one. The measurement electrode and the inlet tube are mounted in the top wall of the chamber, and the outlet tube together with a reference electrode electrolytic bridge disposed therein are mounted in the bottom wall of the chamber. The electrolytic bridge of the reference electrode is also provided with a grid screen and both screens are equidistant from the measurement electrode sensor and the electrolytic bridge of the reference electrode respectively. The screens are electrically connected to one another and to the signal processor.

EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of pH measurements in liquid media, preferably with a low specific electric conductivity.
