FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to construction, and particularly to long bearing structures, and is used in erecting electric power lines. The tower body of an electric power line is made in form of a spatial trussed structure, which consists of at least one section, consisting of a girdle and a grid, forming its edge. The section is made up of plane trusses. The girdles of adjacent welded plane trusses in the section are arranged relative to their grid in such a way that the composite girdle of the section formed by the said girdles has a rectangular pipe shape.
EFFECT: lower labour intensiveness of assembling tower bodies of electric power lines on a picket due to reduction of the number of component parts and lowering of their specific amount of metal due to reduced wind force, as well as simplification of the process of making the tower bodies of the electric power lines due to easier welding.
