SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method and device for unkinking partially kinked flexible rubber or synthetic rings, in particular, O-rings for sewage pipes into a stable uniformly laid along the circumference position. A rotary rod mounted off-centre relative to the rings axes is used to impart rotary motion to partially kinked rings to rotate them till a stable and uniform along the circumference position is ensured.
EFFECT: recovery of kinked flexible rings.
