SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device and method intended for control over packing material tube twisting with respect to tube crosswise sealing. Proposed device comprises a number of rollers making a hole for packing material to pass through. Rolling surface of every roller can come in contact with tube outer surface. Rotational axis direction of at least one roller is adjusted for tube twisting control. Proposed method consists in controlling packing material tube twisting with respect to twisting device and comprises steps of passing packing material through aforesaid hole. Said hole is formed by rollers with their rolling surface made to come in contact with tube outer surface. Method comprises adjustment of rotational axis direction for at least one roller to control over tube twisting.
EFFECT: invention can be used for whatever packing material.
