FIELD: physical; measurements.
SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring instant values of two signals, digitising them for the same points in time, storage of each numerical reading as the current and previous, determination of the difference and sum of each pair of the current and previous values, multiplication of the difference and sums, summation of the products, determination of the reactive quasi-power multiplication of the current readings of signals and determination of their active quasi-power . The phase angle displacement φa,b between signals a(tj) and b(tj) is determined from the expression: In the initial moment, a reference signal s(tj) of the type s(tj)=Amsin(ωtj) is formed, where Am is the amplitude of the reference signal, ω is the angular frequency of the reference signal. The phase angle displacements φa,s and φb,s between the first and reference signals, and the second and reference signals are determined, and the value of the phase angle displacement between signals a(t) and b(t) are determined as the difference of the values φa,s and φb,s.
EFFECT: simplification increased accuracy of determining phase angle displacement between two sinusoidal and non-sinusoidal signals.
