SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vacuum arc chute with molded polar detail for use in low, medium and high voltages and to process of manufacture. At the stage of preparation for further filling, vacuum arc chute is provided with shielding consisting of elastic material from the external side and, accordingly, elastomer or plastomer material which is applied to vacuum arc chute surface without additional tensile mechanical means and only by thermosetting method.
EFFECT: simplification and cheapening of vacuum arc chute manufacture with simultaneous improvement of mechanical and electrical parameters.
