FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: current lead contains at least two conductive buses located in insulation blankets and forming with insulation blankets of current lead sections with contacts at each bus end at least one coupling located in insulation blanket; body of coupling has facilities for section fixing inside coupling from radial motion. Adjoining contacts of buses are located inside coupling body and connected by at least one axial compensator to prevent axial motion of sections inside it; each end of current lead section is fixed in fixture to prevent its longitudinal motion in regard to fixture and coupling. In a different version it is equipped with additional coupling. Versions of sections include buses, insulation and conductive layers, sealing and curing elements. Coupling for sections connection includes body, current lead sections, elements for electric field equalisation, insulating and conducting layers. Manufacturing method is related to manufacture of sections and coupling.
EFFECT: improvement of current lead safety and reliability.
