FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric engineering and describes design of synchronous electric machine, which may be used, for example in controlled electric drives and in stand-alone electric equipment as AC supply source. Technical result to be achieved by this invention is the increase of operating factor and decrease of tooth kinks in synchronous electric machine moment while simplifying design and manufacturer's technology. Subject of invention is that in synchronous rotary electric machine containing rotor with interchangeable polarity of poles and stator with Z evenly displaced teeth on which m-phase winding consisting of n coils in each phase is situated, according to invention, each of coils covers one tooth, but only one from two neighboring teeth is found to be covered by one of coils. Besides, each of coils repeats the shape of groove and occupies actually the whole volume of both grooves adjoining to the tooth, which is covered by the coil. At the same time, stator teeth are designed so that shape of their cross sections is trapezoidal and each groove is provided with two practically parallel sides so that cross sections of the grooves could be practically steady along the whole height, and groove width ratio bg to tooth division tz is within 0.3 - 0.35.

EFFECT: creation of synchronous electric machine with high efficiency factor while simplifying machine design and manufacturer's technology.
