FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, more exactly to multi-pole synchronous electric motors used as power electric motors. A multi-pole synchronous electric motor contains a stator with a number of semi-closed or closed slots zc=m⋅k⋅n, where: m is the number of phases of the stator winding; k is the number of coil groups in the phase equal to the number of repeating parts of the rotor and stator; n is the number of coils in a coil group, each of which consists of coils connected in series with each other. With n even, the coil groups of each phase are connected to each other in a counter way, and with n odd and m = 3, accordingly. And also a multi-pole synchronous electric motor contains a rotor with alternating polarity and radially magnetized permanent magnets, the number of which is 2р=zc±k. When n is even, the coils of the coil groups are made with a step of zc/k slot pitches of the stator. With n odd and m equal to 3, coils of the coil groups are made with a step of zc/k±1 of the tooth divisions of the stator.
EFFECT: expansion of the scope of application of multi-pole synchronous motors.
