SUBSTANCE: invention falls into the machinery category and can be used in fodder choppers. The header consists of the frame with the sideway plant guide, not less than four installed drums with possibility of rotation around sub-vertical axes and conveying drums located between adjacent feed drums. The conveying drums have gripping claws and are shifted forward against feed drums. The deflector hoods are installed in front of the drums with shift towards centre of the header. The guide way is installed between adjacent feed drums creating a channel, together with feed and conveying drums, for guided feeding of stems. The header provides stable delivery of plants with decreased energy demands.

EFFECT: provision of stable plant delivery into the header with decreased energy demands.
