SUBSTANCE: device for harvesting high-stemmed bast crops is proposed, which contains, along its working width between two sidewalls, symmetrically relative to its longitudinal axis, two drums rotating around a vertical axis, equipped with gripping teeth and forming a gap between them for inserting stems. Additionally, it is equipped with flattening rollers that form a slot for entering cut stems and have a smooth rubberized surface, as well as a cutting and transporting drum. In this case, the cutting part of the drum is equipped with two cutting blades located diametrically opposite to each other and at an angle relative to the drum generatrix, and the transporting part of the drum is equipped with transport combs.

EFFECT: obtaining high-quality seeds, as well as bast raw materials for production of hemp fibre and chaff.
