FIELD: mining engineering.
SUBSTANCE: screener comprises a box, vibration exciter having variable frequency and vibration amplitude, concentration cell in the form of a plate with wear-resistant ribbed coating of integral transverse ribs with at least one longitudinal groove having variable depth and coupled on the lower level with inter-rib spacer by side holes made in the cheeks of the longitudinal groove and with longitudinal vertically positioned walls, being tightly connected with outer ends of transverse ribs. Transverse ribs are inclined towards the longitudinal groove and tilted to the charging side, being made with variable quantity, height and angle of slope. Side holes in cheeks of the longitudinal groove are made in successive groups following one another, hole sizes increasing gradually in the reverse direction from the charging side. Side holes in each group are slotted, slots being located directly over the concentration cell plate surfaces in the direction of the longitudinal groove. Pyramid reception pockets with outlet fittings in lower part are located under the side holes of each group and along the longitudinal groove, their vertexes being downward.
EFFECT: increase in efficiency of minerals gravity concentration with simultaneous particle size classification.
