FIELD: tobacco products.
SUBSTANCE: cigarette box has octangular cross section and consists of a box and hinged cover, as well as of board, which is made from a separate blank. The box includes front wall, back wall and side walls, as well as floor; the cover consists of front wall, back wall, side walls and butt wall. The board coincides with the shape of box cross section in the flappers area. Note that side areas faced to the box side walls and side walls of the cover are trapezoidal in cross section, with concentrating material tapes or flappers, adjacent to either front or rear wall of the box, or front or rear wall of the cover. Flapper width is greater than diameter of cigarette value, but less than sum of values of two adjacent cigarette diameters. The flappers are directed at the angle of 30 degrees to either front or rear wall of the box, or front or rear wall of the cover, and at the angle of 60 degrees to side walls of box and cover.
EFFECT: creation of cigarette packaging with optimal shape.
