FIELD: tobacco industry; cigarette packages.
SUBSTANCE: proposed cigarette pack with hinged cover consists of box, cover connected with box and bead. Box and cover form vertical edges of pack with rounded off cross section, and rounded off edges arranged at front side and rear side and narrow vertical side walls of box and also side walls of cover are made of partially overlapping and interconnected side flaps of box and also side flaps of cover. Radius of rounding off of pack edges exceeds radius of cigarette, being approximately 8 mm. Relatively narrow intermediate area of width approximately 7-8 mm is made in area of side walls of box and side walls of cover between rounded off edges of pack. Side flaps of box and side flaps of cover overlap each other to form side walls of box and side walls of cover only in area of side strip being interconnected by gluing.
EFFECT: improved convenience in use, stability of form, saving of material in manufacture owing to rounding off.
