SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy and can be used for fabricating of cold work tools. Steel contains mass.%: carbon 0.15-0.3; silicon 1.7-2.5; nickel 12.0-15.0; titanium 0.15-0.3; aluminium 0.03-0.07; yttrium 0.03-0.1; calcium 0.003-0.007; boron 0.07-0.15; zirconium 0.15-0.3; chromium 0.9-1.7; copper 0,3-0.7; iron - constitutes the remaining percentage.
EFFECT: upgraded hardness and wear resistance of steel.
