FIELD: process; mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: hydraulic actuator rod seal contents tightening rubber ring located in rod bolster gutter of hydraulic actuator and located inside it plastic ring of saw-shape profile. Its tooth top is under resultant of elastic forces from tightening ring. Front of tooth is turned towards to rod hydraulic actuator cave and has angle of slope to rod 45°-90°. Back of tooth is as straight line and has less than front tooth angle of slope to rod. Back of tooth has zero angle of slope to rod and joined with after end by arc of radius 0.4-0.8 of distance between tooth top and aft end of ring.
EFFECT: invention increases reliability of sealing.
