FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns analytical instrument engineering and can be applied in precision measurement of gas concentrations, high-precision odour identification, and in crime detection. Gas analyser includes power unit, lighting element, optical cell, radiation receiver, optical system, light detector, amplifier, analog-to-digital converter, control unit, digital-to-analog converter. Lighting element is a laser, and between it and the optical cell a decoherentor is placed. Gas analyser is additionally equipped with odour image forming, storage and identification units connected to the control unit.
EFFECT: improved sensitivity and interference protection of gas concentration gauge.
