FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for production of cold rolled strip low carbon steel of thickness up to 0.5 mm. The method includes hot and cold rolling and pass rolling of strips to specified process dimensions. Increased output of stripped steel with upgraded mechanical characteristics and surface finish as required by consumers is achieved by means of the following: at hot rolling the temperature of the strip in the sixth stand of a continuous rolling mill is accepted as equal to 1080±20°C, the temperature of winding is 560±15°C, and the temperature of the end of rolling at a final thickness of strips of h=1.5 mm - no less than 830°C, and at h=1.8...2.0 mm - 870±15°C; cold rolling in two passes is performed at a two stand mill with grooved rollers of its first stand beginning after preliminary rolling of 90×103...100×103 m metal of another assortment. The value of the overall relative crimping is accepted within the range of ε=70...74%, and at pass rolling ε=1.1±0.1%; during the first pass at a reversing mill values of relative crimpings can be in the first stand ε1=35...37%, and in the second ε2=19...20%, while during the second pass ε1=4.0...4.5% and ε2=12.0...12.6%.
EFFECT: increased output of stripped cold rolled steel.
