FIELD: plastic metal working, possibly manufacture of cold rolled strip steel.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of rapidly reducing strip between rolls at predetermined value of percentage deformation ε. Said value is set for strips with thickness 0.5 - 2.5 mm depending upon strength properties of steel and carbon content in it equal to ε1 = 2.6 -10[C],% at 345 > σt ≥ 295MPa; ε2 = 3.75 - 15[C],% at σt ≥ 345 MPa where [C] -carbon content in steel, mass %.
EFFECT: less loss of yield, possibility for providing optimal relation of strength and plastic properties of articles.
