SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship building, namely to construction of ships and submarines equipped with modular steam power plants, and nuclear ice-breakers with the said power plants. The branch pipe is furnished with a rubber-metal element representing an alternating rubber-and-metal layers inserted using a mastic in between the upper and lower metal holders and is rigidly mounted in the casing to allow radial travel of the casing cover and its lower part. Invention ensures the submarine survivability and stealthiness, lowers the construction costs by producing safe high-efficiency small-size branch pipes of the ship propulsion power plant using unified assembly units and parts.
EFFECT: nuclear submarine survivability and stealthiness, lower construction costs.
