FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy and can be used to fabricate condenser pipes of sea vessels and various heating engineering equipment. To upgrade corrosion resistance of brass it has the following composition, mass %: copper 70.0-75.0; aluminium 1.0-1.5; nickel 0.5-1.0; zirconium 0.1-0.3; iron 0.03-0.05; manganese 0.3-0.5; arsenic 0.03-0.05; tantalum 0.1-0.3, the rest being zinc.
EFFECT: upgraded corrosion resistance of brass.
