SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of ferrous metallurgy, in particular to the compositions of iron-based alloys used in the automotive industry. Said iron-based alloy contains, wt. %: titanium 0.05–0.1; aluminium 0.02–0.06; zirconium 0.15–0.3; arsenic 0.05–0.1; nickel 4.0–6.0; tantalum 0.3–0.5; germanium 2.3–2.5; rest is iron.
EFFECT: alloy is characterized by high corrosion resistance.
