FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to powder metallurgy, particularly to sintered friction iron-based alloys and can be used in machine building. Friction iron-based alloy contains, mass % : tin 3.5-4.5; molybdenum disulphide 1.5-2.0; silicon dioxide 1.5-2.0; graphite 3.0-4.0; lead 0.5-1.0; copper 2.0-3.0; chromium 1.0-2.0; aluminium 0.3-0.5; vanadium 0.1-0.2; calcium and/or barium 0.03-0.05, the rest being iron.
EFFECT: material with high wear resistance.
