FIELD: powder metallurgy; manufacture of sintered friction metal-ceramic materials for manufacture of parts for braking units.
SUBSTANCE: proposed sintered friction material contains the following components, mass-%: copper, 1.0-2.0; tin, 0.5-1.0; barium sulfate, 3.0-5.0; graphite, 3.0-5.0; molybdenum disulfide, 3.0-5.0; glass ceramic, 5.0-7.0; lead, 1.0-2.0; chromium, 5.0-7.0; nickel, 2.0-4.0; boron, 0.5-4.0; the remainder being iron.
EFFECT: enhanced wear resistance of sintered material.
