SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy, particularly to compositions of iron. Iron contains components at the following ratio, mass %: carbon 2.8-3.3; silicon 1.0-1.5; manganese 0.5-1.0; copper 3.3-3.5; chromium 0.3-0.5; aluminum 0.05-0.1; molybdenum 2.0-2.5; zirconium 0.15-0.25; magnesium 0.01-0.02; nitrogen 0.05-0.1, the rest being iron.
EFFECT: upgraded hardness of iron.
