SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy, particularly to compositions of iron. Iron contains components at the following ratio, mass %: carbon 2.2-2.8; silicon 1.0-1.5; manganese 0.8-1.2; chromium 0.8-1.2; molybdenum 0.8-1.2; titanium 0.05-0.1; niobium 0.4-0.8; zirconium 0.05-0.1; nickel 0.8-1.2; vanadium 0.15-0.3; magnesium 0.04-0.08; nitrogen 0.08-0.15, the rest being iron.
EFFECT: upgraded hardness of iron.
