FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy, particularly to compositions of iron. Iron contains components at the following ratio, mass %: carbon 2.3-2.8; silicon 1.0-1.5; manganese 0.5-1.0; chromium 0.5-1.0; nickel 1.0-1.5; vanadium 0.15-0.3; titanium 0.1-0.2; molybdenum 2.7-3.5; aluminium 0.05-0.1; germanium 0.0005-0.001; nitrogen 0.05-0.1, the rest being iron.
EFFECT: application of invention facilitates upgraded hardness of iron.
