FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy, and namely to making of steels used in machine-building industry. Steel contains the following, wt %: carbon 0.5 - 0.9, silicon 0.3 - 0.5, manganese 0.3 - 0.5, vanadium 0.3 - 0.4, copper 2.4 - 3.0, nickel 0.8 - 1.0, chrome 2.6 - 3.0, phosphorus 0.05 - 0.1, sulphur 0.01 - 0.02, boron 0.12 -0.16, aluminium 0.11 - 0.15, titanium 0.001 - 0.002, molybdenum 0.1 - 0.16, zirconium 0.4 - 0.6, and iron is the rest.
EFFECT: steel has increased antiwelding properties.
