SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy, particularly to compositions of iron. Iron contains components at the following ratio, mass %: carbon 3.4-4.0; silicon 2.7-3.5; manganese 1.0-1.5; copper 0.3-0.7; molybdenum 1.0-1.5; nickel 1.0-1.5; zirconium 0.15-0.3; chromium 0.7-1.2; cerium 0.05-0.1; nitrogen 0.07-0.15, the rest being iron.
EFFECT: upgraded wear resistance of iron.
