SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy, particularly to compositions of steel, and can be used for fabricating of a cool deforming cast tool. Steel contains, mas.%: carbon 0.65-0.75; silicon 1.0-1.3; manganese 0.5-1.0; chromium 4.0-4.5; molybdenum 2.0-2.5; vanadium 1.0-1.5; aluminium 0.05-0.1; copper 1.0-1.5; zirconium 0.1-0.2; magnesium 0.03-0.05, cerium 0.05-0 ; boron 0.07-0.15; nickel 0.8-1.2; nitrogen 0.05-0.1; iron - the rest.
EFFECT: producing steel of upgraded hardness and wear resistance.
