FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy, particularly to compositions of iron. Iron contains components at the following ratio, mass %: carbon 3.0-3.5; silicon 3.0-3.5; manganese 1.0-1.5; chromium 0.3-0.8; molybdenum 0.3-0.8; vanadium 0.3-0.8; nickel 1.0-1.5; copper 1.0-1.5; phosphorus 0.05-0.1; sulphur 0.03-0.05; tin 0.03-0.05; antimony 0.03-0.05; niobium 0.3-0.8; magnesium 0.05-0.1; zirconium 0.1-0.2; nitrogen - 0.1-0.2, the rest being iron.
EFFECT: upgraded wear resistance of iron.
