SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy, particularly to compositions of iron. Iron contains components at the following ratio, mass %: carbon 2.5-3.0; silicon 1.0-1.5; manganese 0.5-1.0; copper 0.5-1.0; boron 0.03-0.08; niobium 0.3-0.8; nickel 0.5-1.0; molybdenum 1.5-2.0; zirconium 0.03-0.08; magnesium 0.03-0.08; nitrogen 0.03-0.08, the rest being iron.
EFFECT: upgraded hardness of iron.
