SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy, particularly to compositions of iron. Iron contains components at the following ratio, mass %: carbon 2.8-3.2; silicon 1.8-2.2; manganese 1.0-1.4; chromium 0.8-1.2; nickel 0.8-1.2; copper 0.8-1.2; vanadium 0.2-0.4; calcium 0.004-0.008; zirconium 0.1-0.2; molybdenum 1.0-1.4; nitrogen 0.04-0.08, the rest being iron.
EFFECT: upgraded wear resistance and hardness of iron.
