SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy, particularly to compositions of iron. Iron contains components at the following ratio, mass %: carbon 3.3-3.8; silicon 0.9-1.5; manganese 0.2-0.6; chromium 0.1-0.2; titanium 0.05-0.1; calcium 0.005-0.01; boron 0.1-0.2; copper 2.4-2.8; magnesium 0.03-0.05, the rest being iron.
EFFECT: upgraded hardness of iron.
