SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy, particularly to compositions of iron. Iron contains components at the following ratio, mass %: carbon 3.0-3.5; silicon 2.0-2.5; manganese 0.5-1.0; chromium 0.3-0.5; copper 0.3-0.7; rare earth metals REM 0.03-0.07; calcium 0.003-0.007; boron 0.05-0.1; zirconium 0.1-0.2; magnesium 0.005-0.01; antimony 0.03-0.05, the rest being iron.
EFFECT: upgraded quality of grey cast iron ingots.
