FIELD: ferrous metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions of cast iron. Proposed cast iron comprises components taken in the following ratio, wt.-%: carbon, 3.0-3.5; silicon, 2.0-2.5; manganese, 0.8-1.2; chrome, 0.2-0.4; copper, 0.1-0.2; rare-earth metals, 0.1-0.2; niobium, 0.1-0.2; titanium, 0.1-0.2; boron, 0.03-0.05; magnesium, 0.005-0.01, and iron, the balance. Using the invention provides decreasing blow-holes and slag blow-holes in cast iron.
EFFECT: improved and valuable properties of cast iron.
