FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, namely to production of rotor-bearing units made up of a combination of a plain and anti-friction bearings increasing the rotor machine life. The combination bearing support consists of an anti-friction and plain bearing and fitted on the shaft, the plain bearing featuring a tapered bearing surface. The shafts accommodates also an unequal-rigidity ring furnished with thicker parts alternating with thin wavy parts to get deformed in radial direction, i.e. to have outer diameter varied under centrifugal force effect, to ensure a friction contact with the plain bearing movable tapered bushing by its thicker parts due to strengthening of thin parts. Note that the aforesaid ring has its thin parts rigidly fitted on the shaft.
EFFECT: higher reliability and longer life, easier manufacturability.
